We would be delighted to welcome you to any of our churches. While all our churches have their own unique character and style, each service will generally include Bible readings, prayers, sung worship music and a sermon or teaching slot. Many of our services are Eucharistic - focused around Holy Communion - but we also hold other services including regular choral evensong, Taizé, pet blessing services, seasonal events and services designed with families and children in mind. You will be guided through the service by the minister but are welcome to join in with as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
At present we do not have a regular Sunday School group in East Vale Ministry Area, but children are always welcome at any of our services. Please see ‘Children and Young People’ page for more information.
Many of our churches are open during the week in daylight hours for visitors or those seeking space for peace, reflection and private prayer – see individual church pages for more details. We also have midweek services in some of our churches, and occasionally special events and services in other locations – for example, our ‘God in the Garden’ events held in Tŷ Nant, Drope. Weekly services at St Peter’s Church, Peterston-super-Ely are available to watch on livestream. Add livestream link
Times of services vary, so please check individual church pages, visit our East Vale Ministry Area Facebook page or speak to one of the clergy team for further details.
